This is the place to go for all things golf, obviously. It is hard for me to comment on how much an avid golfer would appreciate this place because I am not a golf fan. However, it seemed like World Golf Village has everything any golfer could ever think of: huge golf stores, a museum dedicated to golf, an enormous course. This place is a mini city. It has an IMAX theater (that is what drew me to WGV), shopping centers, grocery stores, subdivisions, and condos. We were looking for a movie theater near us in St. Augustine, and we were pointed to the IMAX theater. WGV seemed kind of on the remote side. It was far from downtown St. Augustine and the beaches. There didn't seem to be much outside of the village--anything worth seeing in that area was in WGV itself. I don't think I'd go all the way out to the center of WGV, again, just to see a movie, but if you are staying there it is convenient.
