“Beautiful grounds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2014

The St. Augustine lighthouse offers tours where persons can go up into the lighthouse and tour the light house keeper's staying area. The grounds in which the lighthouse was located was well kept and beautiful. Anyone not with a tour group can go into the gift shop and purchase a tour for access into the grounds and lighthouse....however, if climbing heights isn't your cup of tea, walking around the outside shaded garden area is nice and you can still get a good picture of the lighthouse.

“Beautiful view from the top!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

Enjoyed the lighthouse and museum on Anastasia Island. The view from the top was worth the 200 plus steps to the top. Loved the old photos and history surrounding the lighthouse. Nice to see it restored.

“Beautiful lighthouse!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2014

View at the top was worth the climb! I'm afraid of heights but love to climb lighthouses. Go figure! haha Thankfully they have rails to hang on to. Can walk through keeper's quarters. Antique furniture is nice. Cute lighthouse within a lighthouse inside glass case. Miniature furniture so detailed.

“Glad we stopped...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2014

I would recommend going early if possible as it does get crowded. The photo ops from the top are great and one of a kind; and the steps are manageable as there are many places with benches to rest on your way up. The grounds were clean and well manicured and the gift shop has reasonable prices. They do offer a package that includes admission price, a certificate and a T-shirt after you come down.

“Kodak Pictures Here”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2014

What a great place to take some unbelievable photos with the vegetation inside the building. Right across from the Flagler College - a must see!! Some shops inside as well as a restaurant in the basement that is excellent. Lots of history......definitely stop by here and check it out. YOu'll be sorry if you don't.
