“A good value with a discount coupon”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 20, 2012

A small restaurant, with a limited menu. But everything was very tasty, expecially the tapas.

“A Small Restaurant with Possibilities”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 19, 2012

Food here is pretty casual. I have been here once. Service was only okay. They did have an Irish singer a Taste in the afternoon that saved the day.

“Awesome vibe!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 29, 2011

Great enviroment. On a Thursday early afternoon they even had a folk guy playing guitar and singing. Very good prices and very friendly! Highly recommend.

“Safety Harbor Suprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 22, 2011

Visited the Taste Cafe for lunch . Never knew it was there. Six years . Better late than never . Thoroughly enjoyed the special chicken fruit salad . Robin was extremely accomadating to our food requests and moving the table position outside. I took home the choco beer chili and it is delicious. Deserts looked amazing. All homemade by wife Michelle. Will return for breakfast ,dinner and lunch again.

“"Closed for Private Party" was how we were greeted”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2011

I would love to have reviews the food however were not givin the chance. I purchased a Groupon and have been directed to many hidden gems this way however, this resturants' location is hard to find with parking on the narrow street only. This "quaint" yuppie village is pretty far from Tampa and must be a destination, not just something you will run across. The tiny dining area is more deli like than cafe or bar. Tacky plastic orange chairs accent the otherwise sparce decor. The rude attitudes we recieved suprised me when we were told they were closed for a private party after calls being made and informed me that the only time they were closed was on Monday and reservations were not something they encoraged. My very cool headed husband was very hungry and irritable and also VERY offended by the attitudes they gave us. We were not the only ones there that were dissapointed, another young couple turned around and said they were in the same situation. We enjoy good food and good times and live in Florida where the lifestyle is very casual with attitudes matching, but this place is far from that. Expect little involved and personally distant service from managemant and staff. The tendy "CAFE/WINE BAR" expereince we were seeking in this yuppy village is not to be found here. I'd STAY AWAY if you were seeking a young-light hearted fun night out with a spouce/partner.
