5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

After reading the mixed reviews for the "hotel rooms" (not suites) at Little Harbor, I decided to go and take a look before recommending these accommodations to a family member who will be visiting later this year. Karissa and Justin greeted me at check-in and they were "over the top" with hospitality and a gracious welcome. When I explained my situation and concerns about some of the reviews, Karissa immediately offered to show me one of the rooms. Since this was an impromptu visit, I was impressed by her enthusiasm and confidence about the rooms offered there and she explained that action is taken by management if any concerns are reported. The view of the bay was spectacular and the room was clean with a sort of an art deco style of decorating with tile floors and straight line furniture. The room was spotless and the linens (white comforters) appeared to be crisp and new. Thanks to this warm hospitality, I will recommend Little Harbor for my family member's visit.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom townhouse that had 1.5 baths, full kitchen and living area. The townhouse was nice and clean, had balconies on both bedrooms as well as off the living room. beautiful sunset view over Tampa Bay on one side, river view/sunrise on the other. It also had a washer dryer but we did not use them. the only downside was that the wifi was not available in our room because the Modem was missing and they were not able to replace it while we were there. we did have a cable that we could connect to the internet with, and fortunately, our tech savy son was able to create/ make his laptop a hot spot for the rest of our devices. :-) The grounds are nice and the beach and boat dock area were great for viewing the sunset. The restaurant has a great breakfast buffet for $9.95 and the Tiki bar with live music in the evening was a fun place to have cocktails and watch the sunset.

The hotel was phenomenal and my family loved it ! My room looked like an apartment.
- one bedroom
- dining room
- living room
- sofa bed
- kitchen
- washing machine and dryer
- balcony
- huge bathroom

My family loved the pool. The only con is the amount of seaweeds at the private beach. The resort is fabulous, super clean and I can't wait to go back!

The hotel, first off, was very clean. Neat hallways too. The photos features are of suites and the marina. The Inn is actually the hotel where you stay. We were in the second floor (only two levels) and we had a balcony view of Tampa Bay with the parking lot below. It was alright. The other side of us had more if a little inlet river. The Sunset Grill had a very neat Tiki Bar with live music. So that was nice. Beds are very comfortable but bathrooms are very small. Overall, I'd stay again. Just don't expect the marina view with the "high rise" suites.

Thank you so much for making our resort your lodging choice when visiting the Tampa Bay area. Our management company manages both the Inn at Little Harbor and the Harborside Suites. I apologize for any confusion at the time of booking your reservation. I am glad that you enjoyed your stay at our Inn at Little Harbor and noticed our newly remodeled hallways! We hope that you are able to stay with us again in the near future.

The resort is very nice and quaint. Everything you need to have a nice weekend away at the beach. We were so pleased with the resort until we came back to our room to find an item stolen from our room. We contacted the front desk and advised that the housekeeping supervisor would call us back but after 6 hours with no response we decided to go to the front desk ourselves. Upon arrival, another guest was complaining of items being stolen from their room. GUESS WHAT? The same exact type of item was missing. Coincidence? I don't think so. We then requested to speak to the General Manager. She simply apologized and said she would be back in touch with us. It is now 8 days later from the date of the incident and we have not received a phone call or e-mail. NOTHING! Ms. Nancy Bryant, General Manager, does not understand the importance of keeping promises in the Hospitality industry. The horrible service received with multiple broken promises is the primary reason I would encourage no one stay at this hotel. It is very unfortunate given how nice the place it is.

My wife and I were so excited for our weekend alone. The whole weekend was awful. Starting with the check in all the way to the check out. The room was supposed to be a king balcony suite with a water view. We got to tge room and it was a ground floor with 2 queen beds. And the great view of the parking lot and dumpster. The beautiful pictures of the room we reserved was not the room we got. The bath tub was not a jacuzzi tub. There were roaches in the tub. The beautiful beach turned out to be a knee deep hot sea weed sad version of a beach. The pool was nice. We had lunch at hook's. It was a total waste of money. We love gator tail. But theirs was the worst we ever had. The main restaurant was so bad we left. We got there and their computer was down so it was a very long time to get your order and you could only pay eith cash. We realized that being a local and going here was a huge mistake. There are way too many other hotels n resorts that are a million times better. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. WOSRT PLACE EVER!!!!!!

Chase,

Thank you for choosing to stay at our resort and providing feedback on your recent stay. Please accept my sincere apology for the misunderstanding of the room type you reserved and the issues that you encountered during your stay. All of our guest rooms at the Inn at Little Harbor have either a private patio or balcony. The Junior Suites do not have whirlpool tubs, however, we do have executive suites available with whirlpool tubs. The two restaurants on property are leased by separate companies. Nonetheless, I have forwarded your comments to their management staff. If you would be willing to give our resort another chance to earn your business, I am confident you would have a much more pleasant experience. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly at 813-922-6169 if I can be of any assistance with a future stay.

Thank You,
Jonathan

We were there for only one night but I could see how the property could be a favorite for some. While some of the facilities were a little dated there is a lot to do and the food prices are extremely reasonable. We had brunch on Sunday, it included 2 glasses of mimosa and was only $17. Lots of good choices too!

My only feedback to the hotel is to please check the quality of the townhouses you broker. We rented a 2 bedroom and you could tell the furnishings at one time had been very nice but the sofa was badly stained and forget about sleeping on the sofa bed. It was literally a blanket of springs with a sheet over it. Even my 6 year old son (who got stuck on it) said his back hurt this morning because of all the "poles". It was unfortunate. Also the carpets were badly stained in places which just isn't appealing. It was clean and I would probably rent again if the price was lower (just not worth the $250+ per night when you include the above).
