River Rocks has been at this location for some time. A couple years ago, they changed ownership, and not only changed the food, but they added on a large deck, and remodeled the inside of the restaurant. After the change, we loved going. However, the last several months, the quality of the food went downward considerably. Hubby and I, on our last 3 visits had food that was completely under cooked. I ordered a shrimp skewer for my salad, it was under cooked. It is extremely difficult to under cook shrimp. I ordered the fish tacos on another occasion. I had the same thing happen to the fish. The outside had some seer marks, but the inside was cold and raw. We gave the restaurant one more try. My husband ordered the special of the day...swordfish, and as he started to eat the meal, the inside of the fish was completely raw. We attempted to send it back, but our waiter took 30 minutes to come back and check on us. By that time, it was too late. The meal could not be salvaged, and we did not want to wait another 20-30 minutes for a new plate to be made. We will not be dining there. We will go to enjoy a drink on the Indian River, but that is it. Oh, and my daughter was invited to go to River Rocks prior to a homecoming dance. She ordered a salad. She said they literally took a chunk of lettuce, put it on a plate, poured some caesar dressing on top, and the croutons tasted like bad french fry oil. They really need to learn how to cook their food. We won't be eating there ever again. They had 4 different chances with our family the last several months, and they just can't seem to get it right.
