My family of five (three small children - 9, 7, and 4) stayed that the Shores #503 (via ourcondo.com) in late March, 2010. The two bedroom, two bathroom unit was nicely furnished. We had a washer/dryer in the unit, which came in handy after the beach. We had a view overlooking the pool and then the beach. The grounds were kept very nicely. The pool area was meticulously maintained. The pool bathrooms were very clean - not found too much anymore. Since the complex has only 20 or so units, the pool seldom had more than three or four adults/children in it. The pool area was fairly quiet (except for my kids - just kidding). There was never a fight for seating. As a comparison for the time of year, we visited friends down the street at the Holliday Villas III. Their pool was very crowded with scrambling for seating. The Redington long fishing pier is a couple blocks walk via the beach. The complex is about a 10 minute drive to John's Pass in Madiera Beach, a 35 minute drive to Busch Gardens/Tampa Airport, and a 90 minute drive to Disneyworld. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway with the kids, we highly recommend this place.

We greatly enjoyed staying at the Shores condos on our honeymoon. We originally rented a private house through Sunvista Rental in Florida, however the house was rundown and infested with ants. We asked to be moved and were given a condo on the top floor in The Shores. The condo we stayed in was beautiful. The interior decor was very Key West in style. Lots of room (two bedrooms/two baths) and a great view of the beach. We were able to walk down to the beach everyday and enjoy the day. In August the beach area was very unpopulated and we were often one of the only people on the beach. the condo we stayed in also had internet which was a big help in finding places restaurants, shopping, and recreation. there was a washer and dryer right in the condo so we were able to do a few loads of laundry before returning home.
