“Many things to do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2014

This is a little fishermans village setup with cute little shops and eateries. I enjoy the setting of this cute little place. There are a lot of things to see. A must Stop in Punta Gorda, Florida
This is not ride attraction, it is a shopping and eating place.

“THIS IS A TIMESHARE: Great view, Great Access, Plenty to Do, Near Everything”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

This seems like the form for this review is for an attraction, but it actually is a TimeShare, at least the part of it we used. There is a timeshare on the second story and cute stores on the first floor. This review is about the time share.

We were worried about getting a timeshare in Punta Gorda, but were pleasantly surprised. The room was nice with a full kitchen, a living room with a TV and DVD player, two bedrooms, and a loft. One of the bedrooms also had a TV. That loft was a life saver. The kids loved it. The view was amazing.

The staff was exceedingly friendly. We were able to borrow towels, beach chairs and umbrellas, and DVD's from the office (there is a player in the room). The laundry facility was perfect for our needs with clean functional machines.

The shops below were fun. Several places for ice cream, and a few nice restaurants, including one very nice fish market. Live music was available most nights in an atrium, and at the end of the plaza the rooms are in (on second floor), was a bar that seemed to be hopping.

The only con was really the bathroom. I'd say my son's kindergarten toilet was larger then this thing. The shower was small and cramped. The sink area wasn't too bad though.

The internet service was sporadic and slow, but generally functional.

“Great place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 15, 2014

I spent a long weekend here with a group of friends and enjoyed it very much. The villas were roomy and clean. They are on the second floor of a mall that overlooks the water. I enjoyed the shops below and the band that was playing in the evening. I also lounged at the pool and took a sunset cruise. There is plenty to do in this self contained environment without having to venture out of the village. I checked out some of the area attractions, like muscle car city and the wildlife rehabilitation center and enjoyed those as well. A great vacation spot!

“Great vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

Fisherman's village is a very fun place all under one roof. Villas are roomy and near everything. Shopping and 4 restuarants downstairs, day cruises, oat rentals fishing all on sight and the Millitary museum. A great location with lots of relaxing things to do.

“Family friendly and fun!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

I have been here several times and always return when I am in the area. There is something for everyone here, from young, old, and animals alike! Shops do tend to close early, so go before 5 if you want to experience everything. Be sure to stop at Harpoon Harry's for the view and the gator bites!
