We gave this new place 2 tries. First dinner- went to get an upscale grilled cheese sandwich only to find out that they do not serve grilled cheese in the evening. They had only 4 choices for dinner entrees plus the appetizers. Like the previous reviewer, we were not impressed given the price. So we gave it another try for lunch when we had out of town guests. Our lunch was basically served in a plastic basket lined with paper and our drinks were in strofoam glasses. Now, I don't mind that presentation if we are in a beach bar, but thought it wouldbe better here. The food was average. Black bean soup was good- just the right amount of spiciness. We thought it might redeem itself for dessert- biscotti with tiramisu dip. The biscotti was one of the ones you buy individually prewrapped from the bigbox stores. They placed it directly on the table (in the wrapper) and then gave us a small syrofoam cup of the tiramisu dip. We ended up with a mess of crumbles on the table. The hours seem to be sporadic and changing. One friend went to buy cheese only to find a note saying that they were temporarily closed due to doctor appointments. She went back a few hours later and the note was still there. The restaurant has a good premise but will not make it the way they are currently running it.
