“Nice...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 days ago NEW

This hotel is in a marvelous location. I stayed in a 2 queen suite on the 4th floor. The beds are extremely comfortable, and outside of the faulty shower head, I have no complaints with the room. The room doors are pretty loud, and it sounds like your hall mate is coming into your room, but other than that, the hallways remained quiet. I stayed three nights. Breakfast on the first day was nice with eggs, bacon, and the usual waffles, fruit, oatmeal, bagels and pastries. Day two had all the usual items, but the feature item was biscuits and gravy. That definitely didn't suffice. On day three, we opted to pass on hotel breakfast and went down the road to Golden Corral for breakfast.

My main problem was with Customer Service. My original stay was for two days. I asked the front desk clerk if my room was available for a third day, and if the price would be the going rate for the day, which was $30 cheaper than my previously reserved rate, or would it just go for the reserved rate. She clear as day told me the rate would be for the current rate. I wouldn't have stayed if it was for the older rate. When I checked out, the bill showed the higher rate. When I questioned the clerk, she lied and said she had no idea what I was talking about. It wasn't worth fighting about, so I walked out on her as she explained a load of crap.

Lesson learned. Even if you have a reservation ahead of time, make sure to check within the week of checking in to see if the rates have decreased. You can cancel your existing and reserve at a cheaper rate. Instead of going to the desk for help and having them lie to you.

Outside of terrible Customer Service, the hotel room was clean and comfy. The food was typical. The pool was dirty full of leaves. The location is WONDERFUL.

I'd definitely stay again. I would just check prices within the week.

Room Tip: check within the week for better rates, even if you have a reservation

Overall excellent stay though the pool had lots of bugs floating and on the pool floor. The breakfast didn't have any soda available and fruit was not as ripe as I've come to expect from this area. Staff was very cordial and helpful.

Greetings Valued Guest,

Thank you for your recent stay at our hotel and for taking the time out of your busy schedule to provide feedback on your experience. We take pride in delivering the best guest services to each of our guest and thus we take your comments seriously as we use them as a tool coach and develop our staff and to improve in different areas of the hotel. I apologize that you were not happy with the ripeness of the fruit provided to you in our complimentary breakfast spread, you are absolutely correct we all expect certain fruits to be just right according to the climate they were harvest from and we actually special order all of our breakfast items on a weekly basis and the General Manager is excellent at inspecting the quality of the items upon delivery we will be sure to review this with our food vendor. Our outdoor pool is maintained professionally and well kept especially during the spring and summer months where it is used the most, we did have some bad weather recently that resulted in torrential rain and heavy wind which will bring upon lady bugs as well as debris from the trees. We will be sure to have our maintenance engineer to conduct a thorough walk of the grounds of the pool for any debris left from the storm. Overall we are glad that you were satisfied and hope to serve you again in the near future.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2015

Spent 6 nights here for college spring training in Fort Pierce. The rooms were spotless. Front desk staff very pleasant. Price includes breakfast. Coffee and tea were available 24 hours. Fresh baked cookies were also available in the afternoon. There were many restaurants nearby as well. Easy access to 95. If there was one complaint it was the temperature on our floor. The minute the elevator opened it was like stepping into a meat locker. Our room was near the elevator so it was a short walk. Like most hotels the walls are thin so we could hear talking in the next room. At least they were not late people.

This Hampton Inn is located in a fairly new area with lots of nearby restaurants and stores. It's a little tricky finding the way in since you may end up using a round-about from one driveway. No free cookies here but there are bowls of fresh fruit in the lobby. There is a small outside swimming pool with hot tub spa; guests continue using it past the allowed hours. There is also a first-floor laundry room, work-out room, and business center office. Our hallway on the third floor was quiet at night. Maids are busy in the morning which is nice if you want to go out and come back for an afternoon rest. There were issues with temperature control for that floor hallway as it felt like a refrigerator. I had to ask for a replacement lamp on one side of the bed since the shade was broken and jammed against the wall to keep it steady. Housekeeping responded quickly when reported. Our room was clean and the bed good--just some ambient noise from the refrigerator compressor turning on and off, besides the in-room AC unit. There is a fridge and small microwave, plus flat screen TV. I had a hard time finding the closet with the ironing board/iron since it's behind a full-length mirror without a handle or knob. Complimentary Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times. We tried the complimentary breakfast on our last morning and it was surprisingly sufficient with variety and plenty of comfortable seating in the big lobby.

Room Tip: Probably the side facing the highway is best since the first floor back side is near the outdoor poo...

Stayed over night on the way to Key West. Was very easy to find right off 95. Good front desk service, clean rooms. Was easy to book at the last minutes. Many restaurants very close by most restaurants were very busy, We ate at a restaurant called Hokkaido hibachi we thought we were settling because our first and second choice in restaurant had a long wait but it turn out to be a better choice we only waited 5 minutes and the food was very good.

Hampton Inns are reliable and this on is well located and very clean. As with all Hampton's the breakfast is marginally good but then again ii is included. The staff is willing to help and very friendly. The internet is free.
