I travel quite often on the Florida Turnpike between Mount Dora and Miami. Port St. Lucie is a convenient halfway point where I frequently get off for lunch or dinner. Recently I had dinner at this little restaurant on Port St. Lucie Boulevard. I was greatly impressed with the quality of my meal and the friendly service. Judging by the good size crowd of diners, I knew I wasn't the only one liking the place.
You place your order at a counter, then sit down with your water, beer or wine and wait a reasonable time for you meal to be brought to you. I had blackened grouper, and it was fresh and delicious. As good as I've had anywhere, and at a very reasonable price for such a nice size fillet. The accompanying cole slaw was fantastic, and so was the fresh broccoli.
I will definitely stop here again.
