My wife and I tried the tin fish cafe for lunch - I ordered fish and chips, she ordered the fish taco. The fish is cooked fresh so it took a little while to arrive - promising!. Strike #1 we were immediately worried because it was served on plastic trays with a paper cover - fine if you are on the beach at the tiki bar but not an eat in cafe where I would have expected real plates. Strike #2. Waffle fries - yuck - what happened to real chips for Fish and Chips. Strike #3 the fish was breaded not battered - the fish tasted Ok but the coating was horrid. The coleslaw which accompanied out dishes in a small plastic dish was, in my view, disgusting! Strike #4! Now for the fish taco. The grilled fish when extracted from the bottom was tasty, but what the hell was it smothered in? looked like tomatoes (i presume salsa) and grilled cheese. NO NO NO. I would have expected something crisp and light such as a nice fresh mango, tomato, lime and cilantro salsa to go with the grilled fish - Strike #5!
I would not return nor recommend.
