“A Wonderful Hotel !~!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 3, 2014

Although I only stayed for one night this is the kind of hotel I would have happily stayed in for much longer.

What you actually get for the price of your room is indeed a suite and one could almost say a small apartment. Excellent accommodation for an extended stay.

This relatively new hotel was both clean and well-maintained.

Large reception area where signing him was easy when done by a polite and helpful front desk receptionist.

I have posted some photographs which hopefully will give you a better insight into what you can expect far more than my description.

Sadly there are no restaurants (except for a Carrabbas which was absolutely heaving with people at 7 PM on a Friday night resulting in a fairly long line waiting to be seated) or shopping area within walking distance. However a five-minute drive will take you down SW St Lucie West Blvd to to Walmart (where I'm sure that you may find almost everything you would need including adult beverages) and a number of strip malls with more than enough choices of places to dine. Sadly I cannot recall the name of the restaurantI ate at but it was situated on the same side of the road as Subway and TGI Friday's approximately half way between the hotel and Walmart where one could sit outside in relative calm and enjoy a meal.

Excellent Wi-Fi access.

In short this is a beautiful hotel (ignore the naysayers who have given this a low rating because it did not meet the needs of their dogs) I would thoroughly recommend staying here. You have a spacious living area that is clean and tidy in close proximity to anything you would need to complete your stay.

Room Tip: Check the view from your room. You may be gazing out on to a block of concrete ( see my picture)

We had been in Florida for a while and because of scheduling, we needed a place to stay for a week. I wanted a place that was more than just a room and that we could do some of our own cooking. It was harder to find some place like that than I had imagined.
I looked at the Residence Inn and decided to book it.
Their location is easy to get to with plenty of restaurants and shopping close by.
Check in was easy and from the beginning, I felt that the entire staff was genuinely interested in making our stay as good as possible. We booked a corner room which was a tad bit larger than there regular rooms. The room was very clean and included a living area, kitchen, bathroom, dressing/sink area and large bedroom. We were very pleased with the room.
The hotel offers diner Monday thru Thursday which includes beer and wine. We only took advantage one time. It was not gormet, but pretty good. A nice breakfast is served every morning.
There were a few petty things that I should mention. The kitchen lacked adequate utensils for cooking, but we did get by. They also offer the use of a gas grill. We used that twice and while it worked, It definitly needs to be overhauled or replaced.
All in all, we were very pleased with our stay and kudos to the staff

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you very much for the great review, we are so pleased that you enjoyed your stay!

We did take a look at the grill after reading your review and have had it completely taken apart, cleaned, parts replaced and put back together for continued use. Thank you for bringing this to our attention so that others may have a better experience with it.

I thank you again for taking the time to write about your experience and appreciate you choosing the Residence Inn for your hospitality needs. We look forward to seeing you on a future stay!

While we only enjoyed the Residence Inn Port St. Lucie for one night it certainly is a place you could be more than comfortable in for an extended stay. We had an extremely nice one bedroom suite with all the comforts of home.

During the week they have a social hour with a dinner buffet and complementary beverages and a full breakfast is included with your stay every day of the week. The morning we left that included scrambled eggs, corned beef hash and the usual accompaniments, yogurt, toast, bagels, sweet rolls, etc. Dining room is on the small side so you might want to time your arrival when it is less busy or you might have a problem finding a table.

Stayed here for two nights and loved it. Friendly staff, good value, nice clean rooms, hospitality dinner Mon. through Thurs. nights as well as morning breakfast every day. Easy on and off from I95. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent one night to break up our trip on the way tone Keys. Nice staff, a complete Italian dinner at the social hour and nice complete breakfast. Didn't have to leave the hotel. Able to relax a little more and saved money too. We would certainly stop again. The hotel is either new, or recently redone.

This is a hotel that we returned to this year after staying here last year for the first time. This year we had a room near the elevator which I would not recommend. If we come to Port St. Lucie next year I will request an end of the hall room. Which I usually do but didn't this time. The location is perfect as it has restaurants of every kind right close by some within walking distance. Breakfast is good each day we were here. The hotel is right of 95 but is very quiet as it sits back from the road pretty good. Plenty of parking never had to hunt for a place to park.

My wife and I were just here for one night, but wished we could have stayed longer. Hotel looks new because it is well kept up. Great location makes it easy to get to all local points.

We had a room on the west (facing I-95) side and could not really hear the road noise unless we were really trying.

The hot breakfast was good, the morning we were there including make-your-own waffles, eggs, hash, toast/bagels/english muffins, doughnuts, juices, coffee, oatmeal, cold cereal, yoghurt, oranges, bananas, etc. There is a free hot dinner on Monday through Thursday evenings. The serving area was a little tight on space when several people were getting their food. The attendant was friendly and on top of keeping up with demand. Seating for the meals is spread out over several areas.

The bed was comfortable, the kitchen fully equipped, and the bathroom was clean.

The exercise room was small but there was a sign noting that complimentary access to a nearby LA Fitness was available.

For the price, this was a clean, comfortable stay at a reasonable price. We would stay here again.
