“Massive Price Hike”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2013

In the past a wonderful place to play golf. Three Terrific Golf Courses combined with the PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance made this a great place for Golf. However prices and policies were recently revamped doing away with twilight rates and nine hole rates . Bigger prices hikes are coming in December ($150 rounds) The learning center ( a golf range) is $30 for entry to hit balls This has put the place out of reach for ordinary folks and driving away local customers. A shame but there are many less costly alternatives in the area and tourists should seek to avoid being gouged. Too bad the PGA of America is more interested in profit . Their website states that their mission is "promoting the game of golf to everyone, everywhere". That does not seem to be the case anymore. A shame. Hopefully they will reconsider.

“Price hike puts Dye out of my league”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

My husband and I visit Port St. Lucie and stay in PGA Village every year during the Thanksgiving timeframe. For the last six years we've exclusively played the three PGA Golf Club courses, with the Dye being my favorite. Each year we've experienced a slight price increase, $10 at the most. When calling to make tee times for this year, I was shocked that the price had increased more than $50 over 2012 prices. I understand there has been some improvements to the grounds and the courses, but to increase prices so dramatically has priced it out of my league. I will miss the Dye Course but will be looking elsewhere for more reasonably priced courses.

“DIE AT THE DYE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2013

It is not that tough. You will not die but you will play a very tough golf course. Pete Dye is at his very best with this design. You will enjoy the scenery and the condition of the golf course. You may not score well but you will enjoy yourself.

“Pga dye course”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

If you want to have an enjoyable golfing experience at PGA Village don't play the Dye course. It is the least attractive of the three course, no shade and very little breezes on this course. Play the Ryder course which is the most traditional course followed by the Wannaqmaker which is the hardest course.
