“Honest Review”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012

This was our first and last visit to Indian Pass Raw Bar. If you like the noisy sports bar environment, with a very small menu, we would recommend it to you. Stay away from the microwaved hamburgers and watch out for the hair in the food. We are not sure why all the rave reviews about the food. The shrimp was okay, but nothing to write home about. Plenty of other great restaurants in the area.

“Down Home and Funky”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 20, 2012

First time to this part of Florida and glad I didn't miss the Raw Bar. The place was hopping on the weekend. Small band out front and guests were sitting on benches and rockers near the fire listening to music and drinking beer. It help you self from the beer tap and other frink out of the cooler. Simplle menu of consisting of shrimp dishes, crab legs and oysters. Oysters shucked at the bar. Warm and friendly unpretensious atmosphere.with good food and prices. Went back another night for more oysters and shrinp and crab meat.

“Home of the famous oysters”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

This was a fabulous low key place to eat fresh raw oysters, shrimp and crab. It's an old country store now a famous local eatery. Prices were right, location nearby St. Joseph Bay and the owner and waiters friendly and down to earth. There's nothing fancy here, long tables, trays of oysters fresh from the by, food cooked to order. There was music one night we were there....we loved it so much we ate there two nights in a row during our local stay!!! Don't expect white linen tablecloths, but do expect a fun atmosphere, good food, right prices and a bit of Old Florida! The menu is limited, but why would you wnat anything other than good local seafood. It's an institution.

“Fantastic Food, No Frills”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

This was my first visit to Indian Pass Raw Bar and I absolutely loved it. Our group tried the crab legs, gumbo and baked oysters. Everything was fantastic! I had only tried oysters a couple of times in other places and did not like them at all. However the baked oysters looked good at this restaurant, so I tried them and they were so delicious we placed a second order! This is a no frills restaurant, just GREAT food. Totally my kind of place! I don't live in this area, but visit a few times each year. Have found my new favorite place to eat for my future visits.

“Gilf Vibe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

This place was great! I have been all over the US and the gulf coast is by far my favorite place, and you really get the gulf coast vibe in this place! The food was amazing we ate there three times during the week we were in Cape San Blas, so we tried several different things. They make all the food right in front of you and you get to see them popping the oysters open too! I love the staff, they are sort of rough with you but not in a mean way they just want to serve you great food and fast! Can't wait to go back!
