“BE THERE SATURDAY MORNING FOR THE GAGGLE FLIGHT!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2012

BE THERE SATURDAY MORNING FOR THE GAGGLE FLIGHT!! that's a large group of pilots who fly out to various locales for a visit. Then stop in for lunch or dinner anytime! Consistently great food, an aviation motif in the decor and locally popular. Kenny, Sarah and the excellent staff will make your visit one to remember. Look for the specials and view the memorabilia of race car drivers and famous pilots. Combo music the third Sunday at 530 pm, so make that a MUST date!!

“Nice atmosphere and great employees”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2012

the location is right there on the runways, so if you enjoy watching the planes, great viewing. I love to support the locals. Kenny, the owner is a very caring and great guy. Food is always good.

“Thumbs UP to Downwind!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2012

I am a local that has just recently discovered Downwind Cafe at the Spruce Creek Fly In. After 3 or 4 successful dining experiences with family and friends, I felt it was time to write a quick review. Everyone in my party, each time we've visited this restaurant, has thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The menu: interesting offerings and not just 'same old, same old'. Good salads, sandwiches, entrees, and sides....fresh and just delicious. You can view the menu online. The prices: very reasonable! The outside atmosphere: fun! We really had a good time watching all the planes coming and going. I can't speak to the inside of the restaurant, as we've eaten outside each time we've been. The service: friendly and efficient.
