“Service, Atmosphere, Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 25, 2014

We had a very professional server named Jen. The menu had some unique items that we haven't seen anywhere, such as the home made chips with blue cheese and balsamic dressing or the mahi with a nice crab topping. The atmosphere is upscale but the prices are moderate, so I'd say it was a nice value. My wife wanted to wear a pretty dress and she wasn't overdressed at Stonewood. We will be back.

“Disappointed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2014

This was our first visit to Stonewood Grill in Port Orange. We were really looking forward after reading the reviews. We went during the early bird period thinking the place would be busy later. Not the case! We had two couple .Two had the early bird special and two off the regular menu. Now this place is a bit on the expensive side, early birds are $22 with only four choices, the regular menu is, needless to say higher.

The two of us that order from the early bird both had Mahi Mahi, one of us had Prime Rid and the other a sirloin steak off the regular menu. When ordering we asked for a Prime Rib cooked medium rare, more rare that medium if possible and the sirloin steak medium well. Well when the orders were delivered the Prime Rib was an end cut and cooked medium well, it was sent back for another piece of beef. The sirloin steak was as close to raw as you could get, to was also send back to the kitchen. While we were waiting for our meals to be brought back we discuss the Mahi Mahi and how it was prepared, both of them said it was well done and dry.

This is a nice upscale restaurant, the atmosphere is pleasant and the wait staff attentive, but I have to say the kitchen is lacking at best in food preparation. I have to say that we will not be returning based on our experience here. The manager even came over to apologize but here was no compensation what so ever!

“Great surf and turf”

I had never seen "Australian" lobster tails on a menu. Had a great experience. Wonderful food and service that didn't "break the bank"...

“upmarket style”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 21, 2014

this restaurant is good for great food and good cocktails. Service we find is excellent. we did arrive without a reservation but were told 35 minutes wait, but had a table in 25 minutes. We prefer to be told longer than the actual time. This restaurant also appears to have plenty of staff to meet the requirement. A feature lacking in a number of establishments who are scrimping on staff to make more money. My wife had the lamb and was pleased with her choice I had the Sea bass and was also satisfied with the meal To round of deserts we had cream brulee and Mexican coffee ie coffee with Tia maria. .A great evening and can recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a special night out.We enjoy the atmosphere but it is more expensive than average. You are getting what you pay for..

“Girl Gang Gathering”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2014

We are a group of women in various professions in the Hospitality industry and gather monthly to catch up on business, personal and exchange information.. thus the title GGG. In March, we gathered at Stonewood in Port Orange in our finest Madri Gras attire complete with masks.
The Staff greeted us with enthusiasm and seated us at prearranged tables. As the members gathered, they were each escorted to the table and we were promptly served the beverages of choice ( the Sophisticated Lady Cocktail is a Treat) We each ordered various items from the menu...and even the pickiest of the eaters, found wonderful dinners to suit our level of hunger.
Service was suburb and as usual Stonewood in Port Orange under the supervision of Mary Pat was THE BEST!
