“Best Mexican Restaurant in the area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 22, 2013

We thought La Fiesta was the best around until this restaurant came to town. Nice new furnishings. Large comfy booths. Very quick service. Daily specials. I like that there are so many choices for filling of tacos, etc. You can have ground beef, chopped beef, chicken, turkey, pork (my favorite). Large menu. Salsa and chips are really good. Large portions. Reasonable prices.

“A Good Alternative”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013

The Nova Road & Dunlawton area needed a second Mexican restaurant, in order to split (with La Fiesta) the huge number of enchilada eating patrons in the area. La Fiesta is in the north east plaza with Beall's, while Salsa's is in the south east plaza with Publix. Both are wheelchair accessible.
Salsa's is large with basic decor, many booths & tables. The booths are large & spacious & can easily handle 6-8 adults. Tables are in varying setups for small or large groups. There is also seating at the bar.
We were welcomed & seated promptly. Drinks arrived & my margarita, although tasty was not chilled -- refigerate the mix ! Within a few minutes, though the ice cubes took care of the chilling--but that first room temperature taste was not what I expected.
A bowl of tasty salsa & chips were presented while we enjoyed the beverages. The menu is large, varied & comprehensive, with lunch choices as well as dinners. There is a vegetarian section & lots of seafood choices as fillings, as well as meat options. Food arrived in a timely manner & was piping hot--delightful and well presented. I was pleased to be able to identify the vegetables in my vegetarian enchilada--they were in good size chunks. Changes had been made to suit our tastes & the food was very good.
Washroom are at the back & have Mexican sinks, which are very attractive.
The area is fortunate to have 2 tasty Mexican restaurant choices right on Nova Rd.

“Best Mexican food in town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 14, 2013

This is one of the best Mexican restaurants we've eaten in. Starting with the chips and a primo home made salsa; moving on to outstanding main courses; and, ending with a delicious home made flan - the entire meal was great. Service was impeccable, the prices were very reasonable, and, the portions were very generous.
