“Very Enjoyable evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2012

My family had a very enjoyable meal. This German restaurant may be small in size but large in flavor. We each ordered different items and found all were delicious. I had the sauerbraten, my son had the special of the day, but I can't recall it's name nor what my wife ordered. The host was friendly and helpful. We will be back for more. Go, you wont be disappointed!!

“Always worth the wait!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

Cypress Nook is a local gem, if you are visiting its a real find! Although rather small, it has a faithful following that is content to sit under the trees, visiting and enjoying the coffee that is always provided. The wait staff and the owner herself make sure no one sits with plate that has been devoured in front of them! Best known for German style offerings, they have a great Breakfast and lunch selection too. They are now open for dinner, great atmosphere and the food, especially the veal dish, is great, The menu changes nightly, but the selection of German beers is a constant. Love to find locally owned places to dine, and this one is a real keeper!

“Great Breakfast at Cypress Nook!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2012

I have only been to Cypress Nook for Breakfast, and then, only on weekends. The food and service are excellent. There are German specialties, along with a typical full breakfast menu. The parking lot is not big enough, so parking can be a challenge. Also, at least on Sundays, you can count on waiting for a table. They have area outside where you can sit until a table opens up.

“Authentic German Food Close to Home . . . .”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 22, 2012

This restaurant has two personalities - Breakfast/Lunch is one, Dinner is the other. Very cozy setting, everyone is friendly and better yet, the food is great. Breakfast and Lunch are served with the basic American fare right along side some great German dishes. Dinner the place is transformed into a more formal atmosphere with generous portions of quite authentic German food. The dinner staff is completely separated from the breakfast/lunch crew. Prices are moderate but the amount of food is more than ample. You will not go away hungry.
