My husband and I were staying at the Residence Inn next door to this restaurant. We didn't feel like driving anywhere for dinner so we walked over to the Seaside Grill. I had read the reviews and wasn't expecting anything really wonderful but we were pleasantly surprised.
It was a Friday night around 7pm and we were seated right away. The menu has many options. We had the chicken quesadilla for an appetizer and it was really good. My husband had the pecan snapper which he said was good and I had the fish and chips. I get that a lot and this fish was cooked really well and the coating was very crisp - not mushy. It was one of the best fish and chips I have ever had. We thought the prices were reasonable.
The ambiance is just OK. It was dark and we didn't realize the Tiki Bar outside, which we could see from our hotel, was part of the restaurant or we might have gone outside for a drink.
Service was good. The waiters seemed to know many of the guests so it is probably a locals place which means the food is good on a regular basis.
We plan to return to the area and would eat here again.
