Festival Flea Market is a tradition. It's been a favorite of mine for more than 20 years! It doesn't pretend to be a department store. If someone expects all the warranty and guarantee and exchange policies of a big department store or mega discount site, that's where they should shop.
I find the Festival inviting, intriguing, and for the most part, the kiosk owners are more than helpful and friendly and try to work with you whenever possible. It's great fun. You may find just what you want or you may find something you hadn't even thought of. Your purchase may last a lifetime -- or not. But it's a fun experience. There are a couple of spots I must visit on each of my annual trips to Pompano. L & V for terrific women's clothing -- and a spot that sells a variety of unique leather handbags and accessories by Nancy Lucia and Pinky. Can't find this stuff anywhere else. And it's true quality.
Good shoppers are usually sharp and discrimnating. If not, then the following phrase comes to mind: "Caveat emptor" -- Latin for "let the buyer beware."
