“Great Vacation!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2007

Just got back from an 8 night stay at the resort.
Family of 5 with 3 daughters, 10,16,and 18.
Loved our 2 bedroom 2 bath condo overlooking the kids pool.
Very busy week with many familys with kids.
We went to the sister resort on the beach 6 out of the 8 days as we love the beach. The pool was great for my 10 year old, she met friends and played when we got back from the beach every day. Lots of activities for her going on.
Even my teens had a good time at night getting together with other teens to hang out at night.
Booked this on ebay for about 95$ a night so you cannot beat it!!!
Will return again.

We stayed there Easter Week and it was great. Room was huge and clean, staff was nice and the pool(s) were awesome. We went to thier other hotel on the beach one day and our 4 year old just loved it. When we got doen wiht the beach we went up and used the pool for a few more hours. Dont let the location scare you away, it is totally fine and we would of rather of stayed at this location than the one on the beach, it had more to do for kids, it appeared cleaner.

We stayed at the Palm Aire for one week and the staff were excellent. Our room was a two bed room deluxe and we had a very nice view. The room could have been dusted a little better than it was before we checked in, but other than that, the room was nice and large.
The activities staff were short handed and some of the acitivites did not happen because of that. We mentioned to them that you would think a manager or supervisor would step in and help when they are short staffed but that wasn't the case. We went to the beach twice and they offer a free shuttle. Getting on was no problem as no one signed up besides another couple. We had to take a cab one night to go on the Serenity Cruise and the cost was $17.00 one way for a ten minute ride. Rotelli's restaurant across the street was excellent and I would recommend that to everyone. Tuesday night you get a large cheese pizza for $7.00. It was huge and excellent. We also went there for lunch one day and it was super. When you check in, they will give you free breakfast coupons for a local restaurant but you must order a beverage, so for the three of us, it came to around $8.00 with a tip so it's really not free. We took the Key West tour on Thursday, left at 8:00 AM and returned at 1:00 AM. The cost is $69.00 and if you never been there before, it is worth the charter bus ride. Overall our experience was great and this is the first time we used our time share and we never want to stay in a hotel again. We will definitely go back again. We can't say enough about all the wonderful staff that work there. Winn Dixie is right across the road and a pharmacy is also in walking distance. Ruby Tuesdays is also across from the resort. We got a town car from the airport and the cost was $39.00, cheaper than a shuttle. Just go outside by ground transportation and they are waiting, no reservations required. Kay, Wisconsin

Family of 4 with two kids, 6 & 9, and we had a great experience. The hotel was clean, the employees were friendly and helpful. The other guests were also friendly. We simply loved our room and the amenities provided by the resort.

We booked this resort as Fairfield owners and stayed in a 2 bedroom deluxe in the Areca building. The room was clean but worn. We were told that it was to be updated and that the other buildings had been updated. The resort contains 3 towers around 2 pools. One of the pools seemed heated and the bigger pool with slide did not. The pools were clean and the grounds well kept. However, our room smelled of smoke and some people smoked on the decks of the pools. I would prefer if they had no smoking sections. The area around the hotel is a bit suspect, but the resort is in a gated and secured area. I was not worried about my safety inside the resort. There is a Super Market next door and other stores and mall are less than 5 miles away. My 2 sons enjoyed the pools and mini golf. We also used the beach at the sister Fairfield resort. I felt that the staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. The overall resort experience made me overlook the worn rooms and we had a great time.

We stayed 8 people in a two bedroom deluxe unit. It is crowded but it was a one night stay after returning from a cruise.
There is a king sized bed and whirlpool in the master bedroom, the guest room has a queen sized bed (I think), there is a den with a queen sized couch that makes to a bed, and another couch that makes out to a bed in the living room.
The balcony was the one thing that really stood out- it was huge! It went from the guest room to the living room to the master room. There was a total of 3 patio doors that lead out to the balcony which was very wide- about 10 feet! And length - I'm not sure it was quite long! Perfect for a barbeque with friends and family!

The amenities at this resort are wonderful, also. Golf- 5 courses, tennis courts, I saw 4 pools, miniature golf between the buildings, a very nice playground for little ones, and shuttle services. My friend and I went to the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino. They offer this service on Sunday afternoons - free, but be sure to sign up early.
We were only there for Sunday and left on Monday. I was very impressed with the services around the resort. There was a Ruby Tuesday, Winn Dixie, Super Walmart, and other restaurants within walking distance. Also, a horse race facility is nearly finished within walking distance.
This resort follows the Fairfield Resort traditions we've known for 20+ years. I would easily return here- hopefully for a longer time!

We had a 2 bedroom suite! It was fabulous. Very clean. Attentive staff.

The resort staff had great activites. They had a circus act where they brought in a rope acrobat and jugglers. Other ongoing entertainment that we didn't participate in. Lots to do in So. Florida! Activities for kids like tie-die t-shirts, pottery painting etc. The pool bar was just completed and the drinks were good and strong. :)

Others that complain about the "area" are probably not used to seeing brown people. While I would not let children play outside of the resort, there is no reason to feel unsafe inside or outside of the resort. They have very alert security folks at the resort entrances.

Had a real good time. I was in room 1085 in the Sable Palm building for 15 nights. Wish I was still there. :)
