My husband and I booked this room at the last minute and because of that ended up in the last room available. We ended up on the tenant side where the rooms were a total disaster. Plaster falling of the walls no smoke detector, ceiling tiles falling down, lamp shades filthy, no security lock on the door, toilet seat broken, toilet loose, stained toilet, slept with our clothes on with towels over the pillows and covered only with the sheet. Bed spread probably never washed. We arrived there late at nite tried to find something else nothing available. A few cocktails before bedtime eased the shock. We did consider sleeping in the car. thank god we only booked one nite.

There are several problems with this property not being kept up but being held together literally with duct tape. Although the owners are very nice, it does not make up for the need for refurbishment. Cable tv which does not air in English is a problem! There are tenants living at this facility which makes one wonder if it is a motel or an apartment house. The behavior of some of these "characters" makes it feel very unsafe. I think the owners have to decide if they are catering to tourists or tenants. We have no intentions of ever staying there again!!!

Our room was small and dirty. They are not up to code, not enough plugs for the amenities let alone what the typical traveler needs. Had to unplug a light to plug in the clock, couldn't plug in a hair drier in the bath. Coffee pot, no cups at all! No ice, broken window, shower didn't drain, free parking but right on the street, sometimes impossible to get out. The grounds are nice as was the staff, but not very knowledgeable about the area. It wasn't worth $105 a night and we booked for two, our mistake, never again!

Family run motel that is clean, dated but comfy, affordable and located in Pompano, just minutes away from Ft. Laud. Domenic, Rich & Kathy really put their heart & soul into making you feel at home. Have been a loyal customer for about 7 years now, returning sometimes 2x a year. We plan family trips to this hotel and has never been dissatisfied. We always stay in Room 27 ( has a good size kitchen, full living room w/ pull out couch and a bedroom w/ 2 double beds).
