“A MUST TO SEE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

This historical site is great anytime of the year. It is great at Easter for a picnic, Easter egg hunt and more. At Christmas time each room is decorated by a different group, or group of people who love to help. All volunteers. Then there is open house for the event. A must see..

“Gorgeous Gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

Beautiful, quiet, you won't need to spend a lot of time here but it's nice to visit and relax.

Lots of history here, there was even a movie filmed here in 1972..."Frogs". Not the best movie but once you visit the park, you might want to check out the movie for grins if nothing else.

Regardless of whether you see the movie or not, the park is a great place to visit and admire the grounds...especially if you like flowers.

“a fine, low-profile state park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2012

Beautiful, quiet park. The garden and grounds are impeccably maintained. Just a nice quiet spot to walk, sit, read, and relax. The centerpiece of the park, a fine old turn-of-the century house, was closed the day we visited, so we didn't get to look inside.

“Nice place”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

Not a lot to do there. Tour of house is great for those who like history. Grounds are nice to walk on. We went to a wedding in the spring there and it was gorgeous.
