They say that this hotel was recently refurbished but judging from the stains on the carpet & furniture they missed a couple of major areas. I needed to stay on the first floor & I can say it was 'very noisy'. The Mgr (?) of this location needs a course in customer service & on how to deal with the public or she needs to find a different career she is ill suited for this job. If you stay there & are interested in their free breakfast you need to get there the night before because if you arrive at the free breakfast after 7 AM everything is gone. There are many other motels/hotels on this same street & in the immediate area & the next time I drive over to see my friends on that coast I will stay somewhere else.

Carpets are stained, a funny odor when you walk into the hotel. The lobby appears neat at first glance but there is this strange odor. If a lot of people use the hot water...there is none. The circuit breakers blow frequently and you needed to trip the circuit breaker when it blew. Not acceptable in Florida in July in a hotel. The refrigerator's were not defrosted and there wasn't a dial to control the temperature so nothing felt really cold. The beds and pillows were awful. We changed our room but the new room was only slightly better. We got mysterious welt like bites after sleeping. Bed bugs? Fleas? For the price wasn't expecting the Taj Mahal just clean. They do serve a hot/cold breakfast but there were so many unattended kids it was a mess. The staff was courteous but the hotel manager was not having our numerous complaints so we checked out and went to the Hampton Inn just around the corner. Much nicer! Wish we would have checked out sooner. Wouldn't advise staying here, especially if you like things clean.

We have stayed at this hotel and we like everythinf, but recently stayed from july 10-14, 5 nights. To begin with the hotel carpets smell awful, we thought they didnt clean that day but at the next day the same so it was clear they have never clean the carpets, we stayed there at december and the told us they have issues with the company that cleans the carpets but 6 months later they still have issues?
Our room was not clean each day, one day the didnt get out the toilet paper, other day they didnt make our beds only straight the sheets but it was clear they do it on purpose.
I have to say this time it really disappointed us, we stayed always here because its near broward mall and we can go to sawgrass really easy in bus, but now we are doubting if we ever stayed again here.
Hope it changed soon.
I only recommend this hotel if you want to go shopping and stayed at a regular hotel.

I loved the La quinta inn on Sw 6th St. It was not too far from the mall, the airport and the Sawgrass Outlets. It was one of the best deals for the area. The breakfast was great and the rooms were clean. I had looked at the other La quinta inn on Peters road and it was too small. The rooms here were roomier and I liked it so much I booked a block of rooms for my May graduation.
