When I'd arrived at the hotel my first impression was good: nice neighborhood, beautiful plaza, nice lobby. The front door is heavy so watch out.
This is a 4 floors and 105 rooms hotel with ONE OLD elevator so be ready to wait for it. About the stairs, you have to look for it because it's not easy to find them.
The room: clean but not well decorated and do not look where the wall and the floor join because it is horrible. When you enter the room you will be between the bathroom and the sink; watch it: the door that separates the tub/toilet and the room it's huge.
The you will find an old microwave: but it works, and a small refrigerator.
The bed and the tv are good.
You will not find a plug next to your bed so you will need to leave your phone or whatever you are charging on the desk in front of the bed (not good). If you like a little bit of light in the room you will not have a choice because the curtains are: blackout or open. You will have a nice breakfast in the lobby (oranges, juice, coffee, waffles, bread, corn flakes) and a coffee maker in your room. The pillows are some feathers and some cotton (or similar), the towels are harsh. The good part: you are close to supermarkets, a few stores, a mall, 4 miles from sawgrass. I'd like the experience but you do have a lot of hotels choices next to La Quinta. The price for what you get: is kind of fair.
