We had checked into this Days Inn after another disater of a hotel in pensacola. But it had no bearing on our stay and troubles there.....
I checked in @ 10pm, the staff Lisa was great overworked and completely under staffed, she was the only one there and tons of people checking in, including military transfering to the Navy base.
We checked in to the room(s) there were 2 of them 7 peopletraveling...
and it was okay... beds were a bit uncofortable but at that time I really didn't care.. he shower was rusty and the enamel was chipping off, but again I understood that it was just a tub ans as long as it was clean...
the next morning is when the fun started... we had do not disturb signs on our room, we had our pets with us and did not want someone to get surprised by them or the dogs to get out. by the was Ms. Rita Housekeeping manager was GREAT!!!!! If you had a problem she was there and trying her best to fix it!!! well carpet cleaners showed up and in the rooms they went not once but twice!! Ms. Rita caught them and then took care of it. The pool was emerald green and I don't think it was for the emerald coast... thjere were 10-15 rooms with no door knobs being used for storage and people were being turned away because they over booked the rooms!!
My mother had to get housekeeping to open her door everytime she left, they could not make a key to get her in and out!!
I recomend that you DO NOT stay here, the promised a refund of our stay and he offered I did npt ask them to, and a month later I am still waiting and the manger refuses to talk to me. DO yourself a favor JUST DO NOT DO IT!!!
