My husband, 2 over-18 daughters, and I had booked this hotel for 3 nights as a stop-over on our way to Panama City Beach that would let us visit Pensacola Beach and visit old friends. It was not a stay I enjoyed. Many of the rooms were in shambles due to what we assumed was remodeling. Many workers were present and quite noticeable during our stay. There also seemed to be a large number of "permanent" residents living there. There was a fitness room, however the equipment was old and in ill repair and no AC was pumped into the small room. The breakfast mostly consisted of bagels and only if you came very early. Housekeeping would come by in the morning and pretty much rip out all of the sheets and towels leaving the room in shambles until late afternoon when they would return. The ice machines near the rooms were not in working order. When we first checked in, my daughters were given a room that stunk of smoke and stale cigarettes although a non-smoking room was specified. After bringing this to their attention, the room was changed but this was a bother we should not have had. In addition, every day when we left our room, they de-activated our room keys so that when we returned after an exhausting day we could not enter our rooms and had to make the trek to the front desk to have the keys re-activated. When we checked out, the girl behind the desk could not be bothered to get off the phone with her friend to deal with us in a polite and professional manner. It seems discussing their previous night on the town took priority. The pool area was nice and large but certainly did not make up for everything else. For the second part of our trip we stayed in a beautifully appointed condo overlooking the ocean for cheaper. If you can, try to stay on Pensacola Beach. You will find it much more convenient. However, if you decide to stay in town, do not choose this hotel.

I wont go through all the details, but this hotel is old and tired. The first thing we did after checking in was find the local WalMart to purchase Febreze to eliminate the room odor. There was no hot water in the entire hotel and it seemed to be a problem that management was aware of. The front desk staff was apologetic, but obviously left to feild the complaints from guests and do their best to find people other accomodations as one night was enough for us. I blame myself , because all the reviews were spot on in terms of this hotel...thanks to Tripadvisor

The hotel front desk attendants were rude and unprofessional. I would not
recommend my worst enemy to stay here. The rooms were in horrible conditions!
The amenities that are provided on the internet are FALSE ADVERTISEMENT! If you
are traveling on Pensacola BLVD. looking for a vacancy please do not attempt to
stay in discomfort at the Days Inn Hotel. The front desk attendants have not
been trained properly and they are subject to release a customers personal
information without your knowledge. They gave my husband the wrong receipt with
someone elses personal information. Horrible Services! You will regret it if
you stay here! I am writing from recent experience!

Stayed here for one night. During the night there were several drunk people shouting. In the room next to me were also some drunk people making a lot af noise.
