... with tables stacked outside of it and a sign in front saying restaurant space available). So turn onto Gonzalez and you'll see its parking lot and entrance. The space is in the building's basement with exposed block walls, (which looks WAY different from the above picture). With the flat unbaffeled walls it looks like it CAN get loud. Since I don't like noise / kids I went before 6 on Sat evening and found all adults with good music on the PA and football on TV (without sound). When a family with young kids came in the waitstaff handed each kid a drawing and several Crayons which kept them busy (and QUIET).
Oh yeah... THE FOOD. The menu is mainly pizzas and salads and a beer menu with 30-40 choices,(though light on IPA's , though Bell's Two Heart ain't bad). You get a choice of about 8 salads, 8 specialty pizzas or you can build your own. I chose the 10" (meat lovers) for $15 and the beer was $6. The pizza was loaded with meat toppings including meatballs (sliced thin). Having come from an era where pizzas WERE more red than yellow I didn't care for the overlaod of cheese,( however in their defence I was too much into the beer to remember to order "easy on the cheese).
