“Delicious pizza”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 5, 2012

YUMMY, but oh so, so, so, so slow. Seriously slow. Like, go get a mani/pedi and come back and your pie might be ready. I wish the pizza wasn't so darn delicious...

“Great pizza in the neighborhood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2012

Great selection of creative pizza and good beer in the hood; located in a historic building in East Hill.

“It's now apparently in the BACK of the building (suite#111 is vacant....”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

... with tables stacked outside of it and a sign in front saying restaurant space available). So turn onto Gonzalez and you'll see its parking lot and entrance. The space is in the building's basement with exposed block walls, (which looks WAY different from the above picture). With the flat unbaffeled walls it looks like it CAN get loud. Since I don't like noise / kids I went before 6 on Sat evening and found all adults with good music on the PA and football on TV (without sound). When a family with young kids came in the waitstaff handed each kid a drawing and several Crayons which kept them busy (and QUIET).
Oh yeah... THE FOOD. The menu is mainly pizzas and salads and a beer menu with 30-40 choices,(though light on IPA's , though Bell's Two Heart ain't bad). You get a choice of about 8 salads, 8 specialty pizzas or you can build your own. I chose the 10" (meat lovers) for $15 and the beer was $6. The pizza was loaded with meat toppings including meatballs (sliced thin). Having come from an era where pizzas WERE more red than yellow I didn't care for the overlaod of cheese,( however in their defence I was too much into the beer to remember to order "easy on the cheese).

“Really cool place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2012

Looking for a place to eat on vacation and after reading some reviews we decided to check this place out. If you are into really interesting places then this is right up your alley. The restaurant is in the basement of the old Pensacola Hospital and the waitress told us one of the dining areas was part of the morgue. Checking out the bathroom is interesting too since it looks straight out of a horror movie. All that being said the pizza was really good. I had the cashew pizza......that's right cashew pizza. While I was disappointed the cashews aren't actually baked on the pizza it was still cool to try something different and it wasn't bad. My father in law had the John Wayne sandwiched and said it was also really good. I'd say if you're in Pensacola and are in the mood for some pizza and beer (they have a wide selection!) or maybe a sandwich and you like mysterious/possibly haunted places then this is the place to go!
