First of all, the atmosphere is great. The decorations are classy, but the bar and warm lighting make it very inviting. The service is what you would expect from an upscale restaurant. The server was attentive and knowledgable about the food and drink. We got there at 9pm, and a guitarist had just started. He played for about an hour.
Most importantly, the food was exceptional. I had the pepper encrusted tuna steak. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The meat was full of flavor and very soft. The chef made the dish with an Asian flare (tempura green beans, wasabi, and sweetnsour sauce), but he also mixed in a bit of barbecue, which made for an exquisite combination. My fiancee had the 8oz filet mignon. It was perfectly cooked and excellently seasoned. We also shared a shrimp bisque and some crispy sushi. The sushi tasted more like a spring roll, but it was still delicious. For dessert we split the gooey chocolate cake. It was superb.
The tab was what I would expect from a fancy dinner, but we left full and satisfied. We will definitely go back.
