This newly-built wood-frame four-story property may be a good "value" if you are an uncommonly sound sleeper and don't mind the fact that most of your fellow guests are likely regulars at the county jail.
The walls, floors, and ceilings are unbelievably thin for a building constructed in early 2006. Every movement of every person above you will be felt in your bed as you gaze at the elegant popcorn ceiling. The drunks playing loud music four doors down at 3 a.m. will reach your ears with nearly crystal clarity. I suppose that the druggies in the parking lot and the random transients could be seen to add an element of thrilling danger, but the experience leans more toward the "going to be mugged" variety rather than the romantic.
Despite the property's supposed "zero tolerance" for noise and disturbances (the simple existence of such a policy should be a warning sign) the girl working the desk in the middle of the night will not do any more than sleepily inform you for the fourth time that she'll "call them and get them to quiet down."
Rather than continue what could easily become a multi-page diatribe, I will simply suggest that you avoid this property at all costs, regardless of what a "value" it may appear to be.
One little postscript: after your first sleepless night you will discover that they only rent by the weekly rate, even if you stay only one night. After you flee this cesspool of insomnolence you will need to dispute the charge with your credit card company for even a partial refund.
