We stopped here on our last vacation. We needed coffee and a place to stretch our legs. Ihop had always had great coffee in the past. Have been to many Ihops over the years, was relieved to see this one on our way home. From the moment we walked up to the dirty glass doors, and entered this oddly configured entry with the cleaning liquid aroma, I felt like we needed to turn back. However, we needed coffee and they at least could provide that much, right? The decanter on our table had a lid with one word "decaf". I asked waitress if it was decaf. She laughed and said no. The coffee was so gross, the thought of drinking it just for the experience and not for the caffeine was really on my nerves. My kids ordered and somebody brought the appetizer sampler. What a heap of salty, MSG, greasy, golden fried deliciousness. We had better quality cheese sticks at Arby's. The hamburger was like a lump of charcoal. My son wanted to have them redo it, but I assured him that this was going to be a quality issue and they didnt have much to work with. He grimaced and the waitress came over and offered to replace it. He said no thanks, and she did remove it from our bill. I had breakfast, fried eggs were covered in that fake buttery spray, on both sides. I guess that was fake buttery spray. Not really sure, now that I think about it. Lets just say they were coated in some greasy looking yellow substance. The restrooms were kinda clean at least. Or someone had dumped a bunch of blue chemicals in the toilets, I couldn't really smell anything anymore, after drinking the nasty coffee and having my taste buds assaulted by all the salt and MSG and yellow chemicals on my eggs. Everybody loves science, right Mr. White? If you believe food is enhanced through chemistry, you'll love this place.
