Atlas is a favorite of locals and visitors alike. It is "the place" to find delicious local oysters. Apalachicola Bay and East Bay oysters are harvested and driven to us fresh each day. Try them raw, baked, or steamed. The freshness and taste of these savory mollusks can't be beat.Atlas prepares locally caught fish and shellfish-such as red snapper, grouper, mahi-mahi, blue crab, and Gulf shrimp-in a variety of ways. The menu also includes cold-smoked steaks, chicken, and pasta entrées as well as daily specials, sushi, and a children's menu. In addition, many Fish House favorites are served at Atlas. The dessert list includes our famous key lime pie. Don't miss Tuesdays for half-price sushi and $2.00 domestic draft beers starting at 5 p.m. and going until 10 p.m.

“Very nice lunch”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

On-line assistance for restaurant recommendations in the Pensacola area were pretty limited, but The Fish House got solid "likes". It is definitely worth trying. The place was packed, but the wait was only 15 minutes. No doubt it was a fish restaurant- you could smell it on the way in. That said, the experience was fine. Our waitress ("H") was outstanding and everything we ordered for lunch was delicious. Try the gumbo and grits ya-ya. Can't miss. We didn't sit close to a window, but there is a view of the water. Didn't try dinner though. We didn't have any alcohol, but the iced tea was good. Is a bit pricey. Great fish tank.

“Maybe it was an off-night, but pretty mediocre all-around.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

We've eaten there before and had a much better experience. This time, even with the great view over the water, we were very disappointed. The food was adequately prepared, but not up to usual standards. The drinks were quite small and even though we sat in the bar area and were at a table right next to the bar, we weren't allowed a happy hour price on the drinks. The bar was full of drinkers, not eaters. The service was minimally adequate. We found the atmosphere a little pretentious. I'm hoping this was a bad night, because it is a great location and we've liked it in the past. At this point, I'd consider other alternatives until some other reviews come in.

“Over rated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2013

Food quality is fine just over priced and relatively small portions. Thier style is to put everything on a big pile with many varying flavors which all kind of end up mixed together. For the price I'd go elsewhere.

“Fun and Delicious!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

We had a group of 6, started out on the patio for drinks, they were fast and got all our orders correct. The staff gave us a beeper, but after 40 mins, we inquired about our table, apparenlely our beeper was down, so they seated us after 5 more min to get the table ready. The food was worth the wait! Had a great meal and service.
