We went to this restaurant while vacationing with our children on Pensacola Beach. We specifically sought out this restaurant because we love Ruby Tuesdays. Unfortunately, we did not love, or even like, this restaurant. The food was okay, with the salad bar being fantastic, as usual. What lacked, was the service. We unfortunately had a waiter that seemed unhappy with the fact that we were tourists. It amazes me how an area that thrives on the tourist industry can have a restaurant that treats tourists as unwanted customers. Our waiter was not interested in waiting on us. For example, he asked if we wanted the pre-dinner rolls and then brought us two...which was odd since there were four of us. After he brought us our food we never saw him again until it was time to pay the bill. There were a couple of items we needed after our food arrived (ranch, ketchup & drink refills) and we had to flag down other employees to help us...who I might add seemed to help us reluctantly. Our waiter was waiting on other tables and interacting in a friendly and animated manner with other customers (who appeared to be "regulars") but just simply seemed irritated that we "tourists" were invading the area. It's unfortunate that he didn't see us as paying customers who normally tip well and who contribute to the economies that we visit as tourists. The manager also never acknowledged us (in other Ruby Tuesday restaurants the manager makes a stop by each and every table), but when happy hour began and the bar filled with locals, the employees and manager all interacted and were quite social...with the locals. So, word to the wise, if you are a tourist, do NOT waste your time with this restaurant.
