We had the pleasure of touring Historic Pensacola Village on August 21, 2013. The historic homes, museums, and church were well-maintained, clean, furnished with period items, and worth the visit. We both, however, were most impressed with the English lady managing the gift shop (and her sense of humor and helpfulness), and especially the young lady who was our tour guide. After getting into a humorous verbal tussle with the gift shop lady, our tour guide gave us an extremely informative tour of the buildings. It was obvious she knew her facts and really enjoyed her job on a hot and humid day. We would highly recommend a tour of Historic Pensacola Village to anyone visiting the city. Oh, and we offer a "Thank you" to those two ladies who made our visit to Pensacola so memorable.
