“Take the tour”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

Time your visit for one of the tours (11 am, 1 pm, 2:30 pm). There's not much to see if you only do the self-guided portion. Tour guide was OK but fairly new so not as knowledgeable as I'd like. Tour took about an hour. We spent another 1-2 hours visiting the other homes and sites. Not a fabulous place but not bad for the price ($6 per person with lots of discounts to pay $5 per person).

“So Pretty”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2012

Pensacola is a city rich in history. It has been ruled by several nations, each enriching it with its own culture.

I loved the village. It is comprised of restored English colonial houses which were later occupied by the Spaniards. Some are furnished with period pieces from the second Spanish colonial period. The guides were wonderful and explained everything from kitchen utensils to food preparation and storage, as well as diet. The tour was interesting and informative. Definetly a must see if you are in Pensacola.

“Nice!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 23, 2012

The historic downtown is a great place to spend the day out walking around seeing the sights. There is a nice brewery and gellato place there. We also ate at the fish house which was nice. There is an arts district in that area that was filled with fun stuff to do. We loved it. Spent the day walking around, drinking beer and eating gellato.. Fun Times!!
