“Great History”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

My husband and I spent the entire morning there and we loved it. So much to see and read..could have easily spent all day. The admission is free and the volunteers who work there are very pleasant and willing to answer questions. Although we didn't do any of the simulator rides we watched several who did and they were having a ball. I would love to have been able to brought my Dad down when he could have gone thru it as I'm sure there would have been stories for a good bit of the exhibits. A must see if you are in the area and have any interest in planes or history.

“Yes what they say us true great museum.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

Kids enjoyed cockpit play in he museums kid friendly exhibits. Could loose track of kids in large area and so assign kids to an adult and head off to explore. From the front door you can head around the right side if building and find picnic tables under trees in side yard. bring cleaning cloths for concrete table tips and coolers of drinks and food. Cool temps inside make this a great site visit too but some family members might need a light sweater inside ( my 8 yr olds for example) Lighthouse is across the road a bit and worth a visit (wear tennis shoes or you'll have to walk up barefoot maybe -FYI)

“So much history”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

Grandpa was a Navy pilot so this place was a "must see" for the family. Walking around the planes was a great way to explore history that the kids enjoyed.

“Great experience and FREE”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 4, 2013

This place was awesome! We went knowing it was free and thought it would be cool to see but did not expect what we saw. They had planes galore, they had different ones you could enter and take pics in, and they had little exhibits all over. This place is a must see and the best part is it is free! I rank it up there with the WWII Museum in New Orleans and that place costs over $20. Go check it out if you can as it is worth it.
