I grew up in Pensacola and periodically return to visit. I've seen the beach hotels get more and more expensive and many have gotten progressively run down, so decided to stay in "town" on our stopover in Pensacola during a trip back to Texas from Disney.
I'm glad I did! This is a fairly new hotel, in good shape, clean, and well run. The room was nice, lobby was nice, and everything was spic and span. Desk personnel were friendly and efficient. The price was pretty good, and I had no problems with my booking.
The area is pretty convenient...close to Cordova Mall and the hospitals, and not too far from the beaches and NAS. The parking lot was well lit and I felt safe going to/from the car at night.
The clientele seemed to be mostly business people, and we heard no noise at night...all was quiet. Pillows were ample....there are adjustable firmness beds which we didn't quite figure out, but slept OK anyway.
I will stay here again when I come to Pensacola.
