“Cozy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2012 via mobile

We only stayed one night there, but it was very cozy and clean. The service was fantastic and friendly. You could walk to downtown if you have comfy shoes, but we drove to a lot and walked around from there. I highly recommend staying there!

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's Day, 2011. Yvonne was gracious and we felt we had a lot of privacy. Very clean, nice room. Wonderful location! We will be back!

My room was very comfortable. The house has a lovely, large porch and large, comfy common area. Breakfast was very simple, fruit and bagel, but that was fine with me after a weekend in New Orleans. The location was great. It was only a few blocks to the town. The best part of my stay was the hostess, Yvonne. She couldn't have been more accomadating. She even gave me rides since I was dripped off without a car.

The B&B was clean and in a good location to the Pensacola Historic District and Inn Keeper was nice. Just thought it was strange that the Inn Keeper was not there nor had anyone there to greet us unpon our arrival nor was she present for breakfast the next morning. Just a note to help yourself to the food/cereal/fruit she put out. Worked out ok for us .. just a totally different experience than other B&B's we have stayed.

This B&B is the best. It is centrally located to down-town & is easily accessible from the highway. It has everything one could hope for & Yvonne is a delightful hostess who goes out of her way to make you feel welcome and completely at ease. Thanks for a great visit!

My boyfriend and I stayed here to see a concert at the civic center and were greeted with Yvonne's warm welcoming, making us totally at ease in her home. We have decided that Bed and Breakfast may be our new way to go instead of a standard hotel. The location was excellent, a short walk to the concert at the civic center and also to the historical downtown area. Thank you Yvonne, if we have a chance to stay in Pensacola again we will definately choose you!

We've just returned from a tour of the south which included Russell Roost. It was fantastic in every way. The location is right in the heart of the really pretty historic district and anywhere you want to go like beaches or malls etc is a short drive. There are good restaurants well within staggering distance as well. The room we had was spacious, air-conditioned and clean with doors opening out to the wrap-around porch on the first floor (the house looks a bit like a riverboat) where you can just chill. The breakfast was buffet style and we just helped ourselves to the fruit, cerial, croissant etc. available. The best part however was the owner and host Yvonne. She is just a lovely, warm, genuine, welcoming person who made us feel like special guests in her home. Abbey the dog is a sweetie too!
Pensacola was a very pleasant revelation to us and we wanted to stay longer. If we come back, there's nowhere else we'll stay.
