Thanksgiving weekend was a wonderful time to stay here despite the cold weather. Staff here were very friendly and offer extra toiletries that you may have forgotten...ie: toothbrush and toothpaste. The rooms are very spacious and extremely clean. There is a breakfast buffet and the coffee was the best. The beds here beat The Westin Heavenly beds by a mile. Goose down and microfiber pillows(and plenty of them!) make for a wonderful nights sleep. The view of the gulf is unbeatable from the second story up. The ground level offers a very nice relaxing sound of the surf which will lull you to sleep! Pool area and boardwalk were very nicely maintained (although it was too cold for me to enjoy them). Microwave, small fridge, coffee maker, hair dryer, ironing board and iron in the room. Feels like a suite and is in fact larger than some suites. Value priced too! Enjoy!

Stayed at the Hampton Inn Pensacola Beach on a road trip from South Florida to New Orleans for New Years.

Of course, it was during a rainstorm, so did not get to see the beach or pool. The rooms were not bad, just a little tired like most beach hotels. The bed was typical Hampton, very nice. We got a gulf view room, not that it mattered with the rain.

The front desk staff was awesome. On the trip down we realized that I had accidentally booked that night before our arrival. One call to the front desk took care of everything. He changed the reservation, waved the no-show fee and gave us the gulf view room. Above and beyond, especially since it was my error.

Note that there does not appear to be any grocery stores/drug stores near the hotel. We asked since we were so tired we just wanted to eat in the room. Large stores are across the bridge so stop before you get there. The front desk directed us to a decent seafood resturant.

The staff more than made up for the lousy weather!

Considering the price and the service you get these days in general, I give this place the top mark. They even treated me - the guy in jeans, long hair and bandana on head - courteously. And the room was flawless.

This is a great hotel located directly on the beach. The staff was great originally had a soundside room(view of the parking lot) got changed to a gulfview room. The difference is dramatic as each gulf side room has its own balconey. Loved the room and the great gulf view, stayed 4 nights would have liked to stay longer.
