“Cheap, Fast, Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2012

There is nothing fancy about this restaurant but the simple food is worth the trip. We used to have breakfasts here often and their offerings are reasonably priced and include the beans, eggs, plantain, and steak. They have excellent pupusas, a traditional central american meal consisting of tortilla stuffed with either chorizo, cheese, or a vegetable or plant known as loroco. Their soups are good specially the mondongo.

“Great food and great prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

The Tilapia in the house red sauce is a must. Their $4.95 lunch menu keeps this place full. Honestly, I don't know how they make a profit serving quality food at those prices.

“Great Salvadorean Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2012

My experience with this restaurant was amazing, the staff went on the extra mile to give me customer service. I was happy to see that the service came along with great fresh food and a great taste that it makes me go back there more and more to enojoy their food and service. You can always call ahead of time and place your order by phone, that way you will only wait a bit if is busy. Check out their menu and give it a try.

“Family restaurant/comfort food/great prices”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2012

El Atlakat is a sure shot when you want uncomplicated food at reasonable prices. Their soups are great, the carne asada excellent and their servers are very customer oriented. Friday nights delays with so many take out orders-need to have a better system to handle inhouse customers and take out. Still a great place to visit and taste Salvadorean food.

1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 25, 2012

Bad service! We were literally kicked out instead of acting like a normal restaurant with etiquette and respect and telling new customers I'f they can wait 15 min to be seated the manager actually pointed to our table where we were still sitting and told the new customers they could be seated there then the manager procided to clear our table and remove our water telling us thank you goodbye have a great day with the new customers waiting behind him!!!! Never again!!!! Worst service I have ever received!!!! There was no professional Etiquette I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone ever!!! No respect, no professionalism, and horible customer service!!!
