We booked this place a day ahead of time (a first) while hiking the arduous Camino De Santiago based on the existing glowing reviews. Firstly, to call it a hotel is a disservice. It is an experience. There are four (yes, four total) rooms on the second floor. If the rooms are not comfortable enough for your tastes, there is a "living room" down the short hall with comfy couches, books and just another place to peacefully lounge. This is even more noticeable when hiking the Camino with hundreds of new friends.
Dinner. Do not be a fool and pass up dinner here. You dine in their personal intimate dining room. Forget the crowds and mass meals. Let me sum it up by telling you that I arrived in Spain via a 15 day Holland America cruise ship experience. This diner beat anything on the cruise ship. It was elegant, but most importantly, it was profoundly delicious, from the complete salad to the yogurt desert.
If you are on the Camino, treat yourself! This is an oasis.
