The staff at this Holiday Inn is fantastic. Friendly and accommodating and they truly want you to enjoy yourself. I'm still here (2 or 3 weeks on business) and this is the right choice for me. I requested a room change only because I'm here on business and need to get to sleep earlier than true vacationers. So a move from the 4th to 12th floor was made with no problems. The rooms are great with full size refrigerator and microwave. The beds are, well, they are not as nice as the Hilton but I haven't woken up with a back ache yet so they pass the test. The sheets and blankets are comfy. The pools and beach couldn't get much better. Nice little tiki hut bar with very friendly staff. My only complaint is the fact the Holiday Inn charges $40 a day for two beach chairs and umbrella. I've been to several resorts and have never had to pay for a chair/umbrella. Also, being solo, I asked for one chair/umbrella for $20 and was initially told no. When I started to walk away the 'Beach Chair Guy' told me he would let me have two for $20. I think he did it because business wasn't booming with a 40% chance of rain. And it did rain most of the day. But other than that minor irritation it's a great place to stay for all. Kids will love the outdoor movie! Lots of happy faces at this resort.
