My friend and I checked into the hotel on Saturday, December 29 and stayed through Tuesday, January 1, 2013 and we loved every minute of it! The hotel was very clean and the layout of the rooms was great. The hotel staff was also very helpful. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect- very convenient to the beach (it's oceanfront), convenient to local attractions, and plenty of restaurants. The grounds are kept up very nicely. The absolute only drawback about the hotel was the fact that the parking is across the street from the hotel. There is very limited parking in front of the hotel (and by limited, I only mean roughly 10-15 regular parking spaces). The perk is that there is a shuttle that runs from the parking lot to the hotel to bring you to/from you car. Other than that minor detail, the place is outstanding and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Panama City Beach, FL!

We enjoyed the stay in December and enjoyed a great New Years Eve party! The heated pool was especially nice for the kids and the spa was great for the adults. It was nice to have everything at the hotel without having to leave. Great food, great service. Best staff of any hotel I have ever stayed at.

This resort stands out from the rest because of the area around the hotel: one big outdoor heated pool, two jacuzzi style heated spas and a splash pad for the kids. Add a game room with pool and table tennis, the proximity of the beach and the friendliness of the staff and you have the recipe for a very nice vacation. We went in December when the ocean is cold and the weather cooler but I would expect it to be perfect during Spring and Fall. I don't know how the place is in full season but I think it might take away from the quality of the resort. The breakfast is good, reasonable price.

Out of every hotel I have ever stayed in, this has to be the best. From the moment I walked in the door, I have felt important. Monet, at the front desk was so sweet to us when we checked in, and more than once, I asked directions from Steven Laramore and he was so happy to help. Kim in the restaurant was happy to make me a drink when the bar was closed, and Another manager Dave Tyring bought me a drink at the Sunset bar after all that. This is such an awesome place to stay! And I would be remiss to leave out the awesome bartender Robert. He made me fee at home in the sunset bar. If you get a chance to visit Panama City Beach, you want to stay at the Holiday Inn Resort.. I know I'll be back..
