We were impressed with the room, views, pool, & beach! We were very satisfied with the breakfast buffet & menu. They made the omelet to order and it was very yummy! The waitress was friendly and helpful. We were impressed with the activities going on since it was not crowded. There was a DJ playing music, the poolside pizza & food were open, as was the bar. They had a kid's activity room which was decorated for Halloween & we saw kids dressed up. They had a pumpkin contest in the lobby. The rental cabanas on the beach were nice, our room on the 14th floor was big, clean, comfortable, with a great view of the pool, beach, & sunsets! It even had a full size refrigerator & extra sink. The ice cream place & restaurants across the street were very good also. We were very impressed with the pool & beach. Even the cab driver, Melissa, was very nice. I highly recommend this hotel!

We stayed here three nights and were generally were happy with our stay and will probably come back! Here are the pros and cons of the place.

Pros:
1. All the rooms have balcony with beach/ocean views. Watching sunset from the balcony was splendid.
2. Easy beach access.
3. Kid friendly with the water park
4. Great pool, jacuzzi and they provide pool towels.
5. Courteous and friendly Staff
6. Live music and lots of activities around the pool to keep you and the little ones entertained
7. Late night movie by the pool.

Cons:
1. The floors in the room seem dirty and we had to wear flip-flops throughout.
2. Even though they say queen size beds, it felt more like full size.
3. Food and drinks are expensive, but they give you free drink coupon upon check-in. Make sure to use those.
4. None of the restaurants outside are walking distance, so you will have to drive everywhere.
4. Beach/lounge chairs for rent on the beach for $30 a day. Exorbitant. So if you can, get your own chairs.

Tip: Ask for a room on higher floors (>5) for an unobstructed view of the beach or else the palm trees would block the view.

My husband and I enjoyed our whirlwind trip to PCB. The hotel and its staff had true southern charm and I could not have asked for friendlier people.

The hotel and amenities were all pretty amazing! The pools, jacuzzi, and water park were very nice! We really enjoyed them being open from 8am - 12am everyday. The beach was nothing short of amazing. We would probably skip renting beach chairs at $15.00 a day on the next trip.

The beach bar was nice to sit at during the day. The bartender Pauly was nice to talk to and made some good drinks! The sunset bar was okay. Was pretty dead at karaoke on night one and was a lot more hopping the next night. I think most people at the hotel were given free drink coupons at check in and I would NOT go to either bar for a mixed drink without a coupon. $8.00 Captain and coke...yeah right!

Where I will knock the hotel one star is the room. The rooms are pretty nice, but nothing spectacular. Why does this resort not have roooms with king beds? The advertised 2 queens seem more like 2 fulls.

We will probably be back!

We stayed here one night; the staff (from the front desk to the restaurant and pool) was incredibly polite and accommodating. Never had a problem finding a chair at the pool, the kids' pool is cute for 6 and under, older kids will enjoy the large pool and hot tubs. Great live music everyday, good food at onsite restaurant and pool bar. Rooms are worn and old, but clean, but you don't spend much time in the room anyway. Great views from the balcony (we were on top floor). Beds are comfy and soft. No problem waiting for elevators, but it wasn't crowded when we were there; I imagine waits would be long otherwise. Only complaint is you don't get HI frequent traveler points for staying if you book through 3rd party site :( Would definitely return again if we were in the area.
