“Very nice!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 5, 2006

We stayed here for 5 nights in September 2006. I booked directly with the condo owner. Our unit was a 1 bedroom, 2 bath. It had a bunk bed in the hallway. Marble flooring in the hallway, bathrooms and kitchen. We stayed on the 20th floor. The elevators are high speed but have no air conditioning. Our unit was very nicely furnished. Good sized kitchen with dishes and silverware. 2 ceiling fans. The balcony was great. No screens and it had a great view. Nice pools and 1 hot tub. No restaurant, but Schooners is next door. Seychelles was a very nice quiet vacation!

My husband and I just returned from a 5 day stay where we were able to get a 2 Br/2bath condo with the master bedroom and the living area having beautiful views of the gulf and access to a large balcony. The decor was upscale, and our mattress was so comfortable, I did not want to get out of bed to enjoy the sites! Our unit (305) was rented directly from the owner through vrbo[--] which was a very positive experience, and cheaper than going through the resort. The view from the 3rd floor was great and our room was very convenient to the elevators which concerned me when I first saw how close we were to them, but I did not hear them even once the whole time we were there. Also, the arcade and gym are on the 3rd floor of the parking deck, so we essentially walked out of her room to those places with out having to get on the elevater, not that getting on them would have been a problem, b/c they were always prompt in taking us down to the beach. The only thing that bothered me about our trip was some rude guests who were hanging out by the pool our last day - smoking and drinking openly from a liquor bottle - the pool rules clearly stated that people should not drink or have glass around the pool - It would have been nice if someone from the office would have asked them to not do that, especially since there were some smaller kids around. Fortunately, there are 2 pools and 2 hottubs. We would definately stay here again.

My Wife and I stayed at seychelles May the 12th through the 17th of 2006. This is a great place in a great location. First of all this complex sits on the east end of thomas drive right next to schooners. This end of thomas drive is quiet and there is no construction going on around it. We were the first to stay in room 1304 which is a one bedroom two bath condo. We rented from an owner on ---- and this saved us a few hundred dollars rather than going through the resort itself which would have been more. The condo itself is very nice it has a good sized living room, kitchen, two nice sized bathrooms and a nice master bedroom with a queen sized bed. Which brings me to the only problem i had with the place. The master bedroom is at the front of the condo after you enter the front door. I prefer the master bedroom to be ocean front and have access to the balcony overlooking the gulf. But with that said everything else was great. The balcony itself was very nice and the view from the 13th floor was spectacular! We saw dolphins swimming several times from our balcony. Seychelles also has two pools and one hot tub. They have a gym and a small arcade too. Schooners is right next to seychelles which is one our favorite places to go and one of the reasons we wanted to stay at seychelles. Schooners is a great place to hang out at and a great place to eat. You can have a few drinks and not worry about driving you can just walk back to your condo. Scampy's is also a great place to eat and you can walk to it from seychelles too. My wife and i had lunch there one day and loved it. The treasure ship and the boatyard are just a short drive away and are great places to eat too. All in all seychelles is a great place to stay in a great location. We will be staying there again.
