We had another fabulous experience at this condo. Our condo unit was not due to be ready until 3 pm. We had driven all night and asked if it would be possible to check in early. They were more than willing to store our luggage while they got a unit ready for us. We took the kids to the beach at St Andrews park, when we returned they had a unit for us that was better than our original reservation. Additionally, prior to our trip they emailed me information allowing me to give them my preferences for our stay. I could give them the preferences on building location, room location and even what floor we would like to be on. I have never been asked to do this by anyone. A very nice touch!
The condo unit itself is very nice. Everything as clean and in good working order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The activities were nice and the pool/hot tub is incredible. We reserved our stay through Interval Intl and everything went very smoothly. We travel to this area every fall. W will continue to stay at Legends Edge.

Room Tip: If you can stay on the 4th floor or above you have beautiful views without obstruction. The Bay view...

This has got to be one of the best resorts I've stayed in. The resort is beautiful. Our room consisted of 2 bedrooms, a full size kitchen and 2 bathrooms. Perfect for my family. I feel as though this is a home away from home. There is a considerable distance between the resort and other activities in the area. Everything seems to be about 10 minutes away. I would recommend this resort to anyone who is looking in this area however I must say from what I can see I would recommend coming in the summertime instead of winter. Quite a few places in the area are closed for the season.

Stayed here 1 week. It's good Marriott Standard. The location is nice and quiet.
The place is dominantly designed for golfers (only), normal 2-legged humans are mostly forbidden on the nice scenic garden and bay area. It's not on the Sea Beach, however overlooking the intercoastal bay. The pricing policy is good "rip-off"-Marriott standard: The prices at the Market Place are simply onerous. Public Transportation or Resort Shuttles are inexistent, so you need a car. Housekeeping does not seem to operate once you are there. They leave a nice personalized card saying they did you rooms prior to your arrival, however, during the week no cleaning our housekeeping was provided. Concierge Service (Debbie) its outstanding, friendly and efficient.
No restaurants on site nor nearby. The kitchens are well equipped.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Marriott's Legends Edge. We have stayed at many Marriott Vacation Club properties and have never been disappointed. Legend's Edge is a nice property. Although it is not close to a beach it has a nice bay and harbor nearby if you are looking for a quiet walk. The pool area is smaller than typical Marriott properties and unless you golf, there are not a lot of onsite activities, so I suspect that teens could get bored staying there.

Based on a tripadvisor recommendation we asked for a high floor (5 or above) in the Azalea building. We were in room 1505 which was a nice room with a good view of the pool area and partial view of the bay. We were not disappointed.

The only complaint was the insufficient heat in the whirlpool. The week we were in town the weather was fairly cool (upper 60's) and yet for a couple of days the whirlpool only felt luke warm. It was eventually fixed and brought to proper temperature. I would recommend Marriott's Edge if you are looking for a quiet time away from the crowds and kids.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor (5th or above) The Azalea building has a nice view.

We exchanged our Newport Coast, CA, timeshare for a week at Legends Edge. Granted, there are only 2 buildings compared to Newport Coast's small city atmosphere, but we were very happy with the exchange. We love the beaches in the Panhandle and the people--much different in so many ways from CA. The unit we were given was like our own wing of a very lovely condominium. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the greatest (very chilly and windy) so we couldn't take advantage of the screened in balcony, the pool or the beaches. One negative comment, would be the many phone messages to take advantage of a sales presentation or a gathering to earn more Marriott points. If this is important to you, ok, but it's not everyone's focal point of their exchange. Unfortunately, we had to cut our trip short by several days because of a family emergency, but still loved our time in Panama City Beach. Maybe next time we will be able to stay for the full week.

Room Tip: I would choose the "Bluebelle" building again.

We traded our time share through Interval International. The resort is beautiful and well manicured. Our room is right next to the pool and hot tub and it is wonderful. We are here with 4 adults and 2 children, 7 and 11. They have tons of stuff to do for all. The resort is small and cozy. The front counter staff has been wonderful on the phone and in person! We will be back hopefully in the spring with 5 families!

We have been going to various MVC's for over 10 years and I would have to say this is my least favorite. But only due to the lack of a beach and the small size. The rooms are clean and up to date, the grounds are nicely manicured, the pool and hot tub are small but very nice. The location is quiet which is good and bad. I like the peacefulness but after a week I am kinda bored...there is no beach, pool bar, restuarant or shopping within walking distance which is always nice to have handy. All of that is close by but being able to walk to them isalways a perk, at least to me.
