We have visited PCB for three years in a row and always go to Pompano's at least once for dinner. Tonight we went w/ a large party (14, 8 of which were kids).
Bar service/sushi appetizer was wonderful. When it came to dinner, my husband was brought out the wrong thing and my son's steak was overcooked. They did end up recooking both dinners. My husband's was still cooked wrong, but he ate it. My son's was a bit undercooked, but he ate it (everyone in our party was about finished w/ their meals).
When it came time to check out, my husband asked for some sort of compensation for the meals that were cooked wrong/brought out wrong. The waitress got the manager, who was a young kid. He ARGUED w/ my husband in the middle of the restaurant with everyone watching. I could not believe it. He said he would not offer any compensation. After my husband said he would just not pay for it, he threatened to call the police. Just unbelieveably bad customer service.
We are not difficult people to please. My seafood platter was brought out luke warm but I didn't even say anything about it.
Unfortunately, we will not be going back to Pompano's on our next visit to PCB. I'm sad about it, but refuse to pay those kind of prices for food that is less than what is expected from any reasonable person.
