“It's closed”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2014

Stopped by for a visit based on the high ratings only to find it closed. Based on major construction and signage, looks like Bud and Alley's is moving in. B & A's has a great reputation at their Seaside location so I'm looking forward to it.

“Upscale food - on the water”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 7, 2014

Wonderful lunches and dinners. Fresh seafoods done in interesting ways - love that lobster BLT and the fried oyster salad - bed of salad greens with a piled with fresh fried delicious oysters from our area ! everything fresh and delicious. you can sit water front if you like - entertainment many nights - fun place to go - reasonable prices for what you get. Also wonderful Thanksgiving dinners - will serve you your own whole turkey and all the fixing for your table - price per person and then they wrap up what is left for you to take home. you get to eat out and still have leftovers and no cleaning up ! hurrah !

“Boatyard No More”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

This place closed in Dec. 2013 - supposed to come back at a different location. Wasn't very good when compared to the Shrimp Boat and Saltwater Grill.

“Glad we stopped in - great seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2014

My girlfriend and I visited the Boatyard based on the recommendations of our rental property owner and we were not disappointed. It was the busy Labor Day weekend so we did have to wait probably 30 minutes to get a table at dinner. I had the fry platter which was awesome and huge. It came with fried fish, clams, and shrimp, along with french fries and she had a shrimp dish. Both were very good and we took some home because I honestly couldn't eat all of it, and that doesn't happen very often. It was not a cheap dinner but the amount of food gave it some value and it was really good the next day as well. I am glad we got to go to the Boatyard before they could close to transfer locations. At night, it is a great place to have a drink or bite to eat.

“Top 5 in Panama City”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2014

With Boatyard about to close in order to build a new restaurant across the lagoon, we had to go just before they closed. We are locals, and Boatyard is one of the Top 5 in town. Everything about Boatyard is top-notch...location on the water, service, entertainment, drinks, bar staff, and of course the food. My wife had sesame coated grilled tuna and it was excellent. And my stew with mushrooms was very rich and flavorful. We couldn't help but stealing bites from each other's plate. Yes, Boatyard is a little pricey, but if you wanted to impress a date and both have a good time and an excellent meal, then Boatyard is the place to go. I can't wait until they open the new place!
