We are a family of 4 (2 kids, ages 5 & 12). I had read good reviews about this restaurant so we decided to give it a try, we also wanted sushi. There was a small wait time, about 15-20 minutes but because of the restaurants location we were able to take a walk along the pier and let the kids feed the fish (fish food is provided for 50 cents along the pier). We were seated outside so we had a great view of all the boats. The kids were able to watch the large Pirate boat, that gives tours, load and set sail so they loved that.
We ordered a mixture of sushi, seafood and a kids meal. The sushi was ok, wasn't bad but wasn't great. It's also only served on Thurs.- Sun. something we weren't aware of, so we almost missed out. The seafood platter was really good, some of the best fried fish I've had. I'm from Louisiana so that's saying a lot! It was also more reasonably priced, we paid 1 1/2 times more for something similar at Dirty Dicks and wasn't impressed. While we were waiting an in-house magician was walking around doing magic tricks and making balloon animals for people waiting, the kids loved that part.
There is an outdoor bar, which was playing music. Overall it was a nice atmosphere for adults while being entertaining enough to keep the kiddos occupied. We would recommend to friends if ever in the area.
