My partner and I stopped here after taking a walk in Downtown Panama City, thinking a hot dog would be a great, quick meal before heading home. The forty- or fifty-something man who took our order was, it seems, the owner/operator. His tone was brusque, presumably because we had never been there before and dared to take our time perusing the menu, though we happily stepped aside to allow others to place their orders. Several size dogs are offered for each menu selection; we finally settled on the "large" size dog. Minutes later we were presented with a hot dog that was hardly "large". I daresay it was in NO WAY different from any other dog you can buy anywhere else. To make matter worse, we found the rolls to be a bit stale. Worst of all is the PRICING: these puppies don't come cheap, I can assure you, especially for what you wind up getting. I must also mention that we both felt a bit uncomfortable in this place: this same man kept watching us, with a look on his face that really bothered us. Yes, we are a gay couple and make no bones about this. I don't know if he picked up on this, thanks to our body language, but his staring made us feel unwelcomed, and at no time did his manner make us feel differently. Our experience, mixed with a hilariously overpriced, so-so hot dog, ensures we will NEVER waste our money here again!
